To build healthier communities through sustainable food systems.
WellFed Community was founded on the premise that there is a gap in food education in the United States across socioeconomic classes.
In an effort to "Make Food Make Sense" and challenge the misconception that eating healthy is hard or costly, WellFed seeks to educate populations through a relationship with food, in order to create a collaborative, engaging model that addresses food insecurity in a way that feeds one's body and mind.
We know we are not experts however, we are enthusiastic food lovers that want to pass it forward and amplify others voices!
Community is built in relationships and the stronger a community the more prosperous it becomes!
By educating others on food systems we hope to address issues of food insecurity and food waste.
